Description: Four chairs are placed in a 2 x 2 square on the stage, and the players stand in a line to one side. Player A starts as the driver of the car. Player B then approaches the car as a hitchhiker. Player B enters as a particular character, which Player A adopts. After a short scene, Player C enters as a different character. Players A and B then adopt that character. Player D finally enters the scene, with A, B and C adopting that character. When Player E enters the scene, Player A finds a reason to exit the seat/driver's seat, and Player B shifts to the driver's seat, Player C moves to the front, and Player D moves over to allow space for Player E.
Each player enters the scene, and the players in the car adopt that player's character. After the final Player Z has entered, Player A comes in next with a character. When Player X leaves the driver's seat, everyone in the car adopts Player Y's character. Then when Player Y leaves, everyone adopts Player Z's character. Finally, Player Z leaves and the scene ends with Player A once again driving the car alone.
Tips: Players in the car can either adopt the new player's character OR a character closely related to it. For example, if a player enters the car as Harry Potter, the others don't all need to become Harry Potter - they might choose to be other Harry Potter characters.
Variants: The number of players in the car may be varied.
Can also be played as a guessing game. When a player enters the car, the driver must determine what their characterization is; once he adopts it, that is his opportunity to leave the car.
