Description: The stage is physically divided into three or four sections (even though Quadrants implies a two-by-two formation, in practice having the divisions run from up- to downstage works much better). Each division is assigned a particular emotion, as suggested by the audience. The players (from two to four) then play an open improv scene, but must always behave with the emotion appropriate for where they are on stage.
Gimmicks: Moving quickly across stage through the divisions. Straddling the line between two sections to play both emotions simultaneously.
Variants: Having one player immune from the emotions (the "straight man"); this could be represented by a object, a hat, or some other telltale marker.
